Short-term visa issue in current situation
Recently, the requirements for the extension of short-term visas (no residence permits, such as M visas) have become stricter, and extensions have become more difficult.
The international epidemic situation has deteriorated recently, and China is also continuously tightening its immigration policy to prevent imported cases from abroad. Once a person leaves China, it is difficult to return back to China.
Some situations where the application for short-term visa extension has a higher success rate are as below:
1. The work visa is being processed, and his/her current visa needs to be extended to stay in China.
2. A person needs to extend his/her current visa to stay in China because he/she is applying for business registration. And provide the business registration certificate being processed. (Such as: Enterprise Registration Verification Form.)
How to solve the visa issue, please see the solution as below:
1. Apply for a work visa after finding a job in China.
2. Register a company in China and apply for a visa as the legal representative.
"According to the notice from the National Immigration Bureau, foreigners who apply for an extension of the visa stay period should apply to the exit and entry management agency of the public security organ 7 days before the expiration of the visa period."
Our suggest based on the current situation:
If you are a short-term visa holder and want to stay in China in the future, it is recommended that you make preparations for visa transfer in advance. Don’t wait until the last few days of the expiration date and risk being forced to leave.
Once the short-term visa extension fails, the police will only issue a 10-day exit visa.
